1. How to Order? 

We have outlined the 4 Easy Steps to get your order delivered.

         STEP 1: Choose Food & Order Online!

Type your address in full with Singapore spelled out. (123 edgedale plains Singapore)

        STEP 2: Receive E-mail Confirmation!

If you have chosen to pay by DBS Paylah!, we will be sending you the payment request within minutes. Please Accept the request.

       

 

 

 

 

       

       STEP 3: Receive SMS Notifications

We will keep you updated / notified on estimated delivery time line. Especially if your favourite stall is having a long queue.

       STEP 4: Show your order confirmation

Collect Food and enjoy your food!

2. What is the cut-off time to order?

This depends on how far the hawker centre is. The ordering app will display when ordering are open or closed.

Order in advance and help us group orders to save time and optimise the delivery routes to you!

 

3. What are the payment types available?

 

Payment is accepted online via checkout, please note that there is a minimum of purchase amount per check-out.

 

Payment methods we accept are;

  1. Credit Card (Master / Visa) via "Stripe"

  2. DBS PayLah! 

  3. Paynow or Pay Anyone

  4. Promo Codes / Discount Codes

 

 

4. How can I Amend my order?

 

You can contact us via e-mail : cs@sgmakankaki.com to amend or add to your order if your order is more than 4 hours from delivery.

 

5. How early in advance can I order?

 

At this moment, all orders will be 1 week in advance.

Advance orders have cheaper delivery fees and better customisation options.

For bulk order, events or meeting lunches, please contact us via our email: CS@sgmakankaki.com for better fees and broader choices.

 

6. Is the food HALAL certified?

 

We strive to include HALAL certified food from the Hawker Centre we deliver from. If the stall we are delivering from is HALAL certified, the food items will be placed under the Category: Mains (HALAL). However, in some cases, Halal Certificate is missing from the stall, and we can only rely on the verification done by the stall owner. 

 

To prevent misunderstandings, we DO NOT include stalls that specify wordings such as “HALAL” or “No Pork, No Lard” in this category.

 

Food from HALAL certified stalls are packed separately from other food and packed in our clearly labelled Food Warmer Bags to prevent any food mix-up.

 

7. How are cold items / desserts delivered?

 

We Love Desserts! In our HOT climate, Singaporeans love to add cold juices/ drinks as well as icy desserts!

We place all cold items into a cooler box with additional Ice as a base before your drinks and desserts, so it gets delivered to you like when auntie prepares it, cold and refreshing.

 

Do let us know if you have found a unique way to deliver the items better; your feedback is always important to us!

 

8. Why is there a designated time?

 

Most of us have makan at around 12 noon to 2pm, so we aim to deliver around that time. Do note that some Hawker stalls open later than usual but we strive to get you food on time, every time.

 

9. How come I have to go pick up at the lobby? [ CORPORATE BUILDINGS ONLY ]

 

There are 2 reasons; visitor pass exchange & time saving.

 

Many office buildings will require us to exchange for visitor passes. Food gets to you much quicker without the queue of exchanging passes

We aim to consolidate our orders and therefore reduce the time taken to deliver food to all everyone, to do this, we will collect orders in advance, and deliver to a great many of you in the zone.

 

This way food is cheaper and the delivery is quicker too.

 

10. How do I collect the food?

 

Upon your order confirmation, an automatic email with your order details are sent to you via your stated e-mail address.

Simply show your order number / details to our staff to collect your order.

 

Do it via phone, don’t need printed copies!

 

11. Delivery Zones?

 

At this moment, we serve the Islandwide but every zone has a minimum delivery order size. It starts as low as $12 and goes up to $100 if your delivery address is very far.

 

 

12. Cost per person?

 

Currently, the average cost is between $5 to $10 per person depending on how many people order together.

It is way better when you order with your colleagues, so grab your makan kaki and order now!

“Makan Kaki” is a colloquial term for buddy or friend you dine with.

 

13. Allergy and Special Diets?

 

We strive to include food choices for food or dietary requirements.

 

If the food is made with any food or dietary information, we will label it accordingly.

Eg; HALAL / Vegetarian (素) / Vegan

 

If you have concerns about Allergy, please do check with us before ordering.

 

14. Changing Date of orders

 

If you need to change the date of delivery for your order, please notify our Customer Service Team at least 4 hours before delivery time.

15. Can I order in advance for Party & Events?

 

We would love to do that! Please contact us (cs@sgmakankaki.com) to work the details and we would arrange for you.

 

16. Do you deliver from other places instead of the Hawker Centre?

 

As we expand, we will consider places that may not be Hawker Centres but our core is our Love for Hawker Food.
