We found this small stall selling all sorts of egg dishes, in little corner, near the back of Bedok Food Centre ( Bedok Corner ). This stall has an invisible queue, you order, and you sit, if you sit nearby, auntie will bring it to you.
I seldom feel compelled to write about fried Oysters, after all, it's quite common place and taste generally the same everywhere. This place however, has quite a unique selling point, the Fried Oyster is Super Crispy.
To top it off, it's HALAL Certified! So what's in this dish and what's the difference between Hao Jian or Hao Dan?
Fried Oyster (Hao Jian 蠔煎) is fried crispy egg and the oysters are half cooked.
Oyster Omelette ( Hao Dan 蚝旦) is an omelette stir-fried with oysters, usually bigger oysters are used, more egg compared to Fried oyster.
This stall also serves kid friendly dishes like mushroom omelette and prawn omelette, which we didn't try but will go back to try it sometime soon.
The egg is fried crispy, the oysters are fresh and plump, and the chilli sauce dip is too die for!
WE TRIED IT!
Makan Kaki team tried their signature, Fried Oysters!
Notable points
1. Super crispy egg, taste is just nice, not too salty.
2. Big & Fresh Ingredients - Juicy and Plump Oysters!
3. Chilli - Great Chilli Sauce dip
MK Rating : 8.0/10
( please note that Makan Kaki pays for our own food and tries food anonymously, we do not have any ongoing partnership tie-ups with Green Sky. )
